Discovery Xmas PartySunday 20th Dec Daytime Xmas fete with seasonal stalls & games festivities include Vote now for your top 10 of all time (come on girls you too!)The top 10 will be played on the night Seasonal selectors on the night playing some of their all time Simon Lee (Faze Action) over two rocking festive floors playing their fav records of all time Please find the details for the last Discovery session of 2009 with the Discovery music shuttle landing on a sparkly Tinsletown where Santa’s helpers have cooked up a right seasonal party menu with early Christmas goody bags, plenty of fun & games and lots of love to be spread under the mistletoe. There’s a great opportunity to find personal and unique presents from the many stalls set up by the local artist and artisans during the daytime fete while listening to Disco, House & electronic carols and keeping warm with homemade mulled cider and other seasonal tasties. We’ll also announce the winner top 10 in our ‘Discovery top 10 dance records of all time’ and continue late into the winter evening while the stars twinkle to the beat. The star studded cast tonight will be selecting their fav records of all time too so expect a fun filled festive party for our 2009 finale …It’s been a never ending rollercoaster of fun on Sundays and a magic carpet rider of great music with Trevor Jackson, Craig Richards, Nathan Gregory Wilkins, Jonny Burnip, Pilooski, Brennan Green, Wandy, Ivan Smagghe, Tim Paris,Bad Passion Project, Greg Wilson, Mudd and the Revenge and our fun loving residents Neil,Dave & Guille playing the music they want too at the Horse & Groom, Horse & Groom NYE spectacular 2009/20102 Floors and a secret room of the finest music,drinking, staring playing a decadent mix of House, Disco, Electronic delights alongside funk, boogie, northern soul, rediscovered unclassics and tropical rock over 2 amazing decorated floors and a secret room. The Horse & Groom really show off their intentions for putting on a night to remember for NYE by pulling in some of the most colourful characters and personalities from the London’s ever growing underground party scenes and as we are using 3 different rooms it has allowed us to programme musically just what NYE should be about fun and good times from Early House, Disco, Electronica to Northern Soul and Funk to more modern contemporary delights it’s all going to here with a exciting selection of London’s finest party Dj’s including the fantastic Frank Tope (Wild Geese/ Rooty), Disco Maverick and dj to the stars Nathan Gregory Wilkins (History Clock), Wandy of Heartbeat and Chibuku fame, Neil Thornton(Lasermagnetic)/, East London’s mix specialists Curious People, Horse & Groom party fav’s Dave Rose (Shift) & Guille Bo (Hustle) and local lad about town Joe Lye. There also will be a special guest joining us who is one of UK’s finest house producers. The fantastic Horse and Groom sound system that puts a lot of bigger clubs to shame will be tweaked and enhanced to par excellence.
